Zamp for QuickBooks Online: Customer Exemption Configuration

Zamp supports several customer exemption types. You would want to set a Zamp Customer Exemption code on customer records when the purchasing entity isn't subject to sales tax. For example, a reseller, non-profit, education institution, or a government agency.

Setting Zamp Customer Exemptions in QuickBooks Online

1. Navigate to Customers & leads > Customers

2. Choose a desired customer record, click into it, and select Edit

3. Scroll to the bottom of the Edit details, and locate the Exemption details field

4. Enter one of the following supported values:
   1. RESALE
   2. FEDERAL_GOV
   3. STATE_GOV
   4. NON_PROFIT
   5. EDU_PUBLIC
5. Save the record
