Installing & Setting Up Zamp Tax for WooCommerce
Before You Begin
WordPress 5.0+
WooCommerce 7.0+
Valid Zamp API token
PHP 7.4+
Not sure how to verify your WordPress, WooCommerce, and PHP versions? Visit WooCommerce > Status.
For WordPress, look under WordPress environment for a value called WordPress version
For WooCommerce, look under Active plugins for a value called WooCommerce
For PHP, look under Server environment for a value called PHP version
Installation Steps
Please reach out to your Account Manager or Onboarding Specialist for the Zamp Tax plugin Zip file.
Log in to the WordPress admin dashboard
[Manual install] Navigate to Plugins > Add New
[Manual install] Click Upload Plugin
[Manual install] Select the Zamp Tax plugin ZIP file
Click Install Now
Click Activate Plugin
Initial Configuration
Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Zamp Tax
Enter your Zamp API token
Token status shows "Connected" when valid
If invalid, verify and retry
Save your Settings in order to have the token validated and unlock additional settings.
Select nexus states
States where you have tax obligations
Only tax-applicable states shown
Important Setting
Verify your store's address in WooCommerce > Settings > General. This address is used for tax calculations.
Important Shipping Setting
All shipping methods should have a tax status of "Taxable".
Important Note
The Zamp Tax plugin only supports block layouts for the checkout page.

Enable Address Validation: Shipping address verification
