Historical Data Management
Historical Sync Feature
The Historical Sync feature allows you to synchronize past order data with Zamp Tax:
Access via Extensions → My Extensions → Zamp Tax → Historical Sync tab
Syncs completed orders with paid status to Zamp Tax system
Allows bulk synchronization of historical transactions
Requires active Zamp API token configured in settings
Date Range Selection
Note: Historical sync is available for orders from January 1, 2022 onwards.
To select orders for synchronization:
Locate the date range selectors in the Historical Data Sync panel
Set Start Date (defaults to 2022-01-01 if empty)
Set End Date (defaults to current date if empty)
Click "Sync Historical Transactions" to begin the process
Sync Status Monitoring
Monitor synchronization progress through the status grid displaying:
Status | Description |
Requested | Total number of orders found in selected date range |
Completed | Successfully synchronized orders |
Already Exists | Orders previously synchronized to Zamp |
Failed | Orders that failed to synchronize |
Handling Failed Syncs
If synchronization fails for any orders:
Check error logs in the Logs tab
Common failure reasons:
Invalid shipping address information
Missing tax codes on products
Network connectivity issues
API token authentication errors
Resolution steps:
Verify order data completeness
Ensure correct product tax codes are assigned
Check API token validity
Retry synchronization for the specific date range
Important: Failed synchronizations do not affect the original order data in Shopware. You can safely retry synchronization after resolving the underlying issues.
Accessing Sync Logs
Navigate to the Logs tab
Select the date of the sync attempt
View detailed sync logs including:
API request/response details
Error messages
Transaction IDs
Sync status codes
Download logs as PDF, if desired, for record keeping.
