Overview
Zamp uses Product Tax Codes to power our tax engine's logic. When creating subscriptions within Chargebee, you have the option of assigning product tax codes to all elements within your subscription.
Zamp's Product Tax Codes can be mapped to each billing cadence (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly). These codes can also be mapped individually or in bulk.

Mapping Price Levels
The navigation path to mapping Plans, Addons, and Charges is the same as mapping is tied to Pricing.
Under Product Catalog, click the element you are looking to map (Plans, Addons, Charges).
Open the plan to be mapped, or click Create.
Under Pricing, navigate to the Frequency that you are looking to map.
Click Edit
Scroll to the Tax section.
Check This charge is subject to taxes.
Under Tax Code, enter the Zamp Tax Codes.
Mapping in Bulk
Using Chargebee's import / export function, mapping pricing can be done in bulk.
Under Settings, click Import & Export Data.
Click Manual export.
Under Product Catalog and the Export File, click Download import-friendly file.
A .zip file will download on your device which you can click to unzip to reveal all product information.
Click ItemPrices.csv.
Once the file has been opened, look for column BB,
tax_providers_fields[field_value][0].Enter Zamp Product Tax Codes for any item price that needs taxability treatment.
Ensure the file is saved.
Once navigating back to Chargebee, click Import & Export Data.
Click Choose a bulk operation.
Under the Showing dropdown, find Item prices
For Update Item Prices click Proceed.
Upload the saved itemPrices.csv file.
Ensure your mappings are valid, as Chargebee will flag any fields that are invalid. If the only updates made were to the tax code column from step 6, you can bypass all of this.
Click Submit.
